RENTAL INFO

1.  1. Rentals: All rentals are for 1-day use. Items are normally delivered the day before or day of, and picked up the day after (excluding Sundays and Holidays), at the standard delivery charge. For example: Weekday rentals are picked up (before 3pm) or delivered the day before or the day of and picked up or dropped off the day after (before 3pm). Weekend rentals are picked up or delivered on Friday (before 3:00pm if customer is picking up) and returned on Monday (before 3:00pm if customer is dropping off). If rental items have to be picked up on Saturday and/or on Sunday please specify when reserving the rental, additional charges may apply. 

 

2. Reservations:  Yes2Events, LLC requires a cash or credit card retainer of 50% and a signed contract to confirm all rentals. Once a reservation is confirmed, no cancellations are allowed without forfeiting the deposit. If the order is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the event there will be a 25% cancellation fee appropriate to the order. In addition, if the order is cancelled 30 days or less of the event the customer is responsible for the full cost of the rental. All authorizations for incidentals are held and/or charged to credit card used at time of booking. All authorizations for incidentals are held and/or charged to credit card used at time of booking. The incidental charge of $100 for invoices $450 or less ($175 refundable incidental charge for invoices $451 or higher), will be seen on invoices as an add on to the rental total. Provided there are no missing items, damages, cancellations or other incidentals, the deposit is fully refundable 1 – 3 business days after return date. Any damages to the rental item(s) and/or each day the rental is returned late will decrease the refundable amount given back to the customer. All late rental returns there will be a daily fee of $75 billed to the card on file until rentals are returned. Continued terms/conditions: Customer agrees to reimburse lessor for all attorney fees, and amount not less than 25% of all sums due, court cost and expenses incurred by lessor to enforce collection or to preserve or enforce lessor’s rights under this contract. 
    

3. Identification Requirements: All customers are required to have valid state or government ID when picking up equipment. Customer must be at least 18 years of age with valid state driver’s license, state identification card, military ID, or US passport. 

 

4. Final Payment/C.O.D. Payment Information: For delivered or customer pick up orders, payment must be available (PAID IN FULL) up to 1 WEEK prior to the delivery or pick up date. Payment is accepted in cash or credit card only. No personal checks are accepted. There is a processing fee that will occur when using your credit card once the customer pays for service.  If invoice is not paid on time Yes2Events has the right to terminate contract and all monies paid by customer will be forfeited. Linen/Event Furniture/Décor are not reserved until deposit or invoice is paid and contract has been signed.  

5. Customer Pickup/Loading & Delivery Terms: Yes2Events is happy to assist you with loading or unloading of your vehicle when picking up or returning equipment. Yes2Events is not liable for any damage to vehicle during this process.  Delivery and pick up times are not guaranteed without a timed delivery at an additional charge. Weekday and Saturday delivery times may vary. All delivery charges are based on a first floor delivery.

Customer or venue representative must be present to check in delivery. Customer is responsible for all equipment on order until picked up.

Billing and Payment of Damaged/Missing Items.  Yes2Events shall invoice the client for the Services/Fees and any related expenses monthly for damaged, stolen, missing items, etc invoices within thirty (30) days of receipt of the invoice(s). Client shall pay Yes2Events a monthly finance charge of [one and one half percent (1.5%) per month], or the highest interest rate allowable by law (whichever is less), of any Fees or other amounts owed by Client and not paid when due. Client hereby agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs, incurred by Yes2Events if legal action is instituted by Yes2Events against the Client for breach of Client’s payment responsibilities hereunder. 

6. Rental Changes: All changes to reservations must be approved 2 weeks prior to delivery or customer pick up. The customer cannot reduce items but can add to their contract, pending availability, however we do not allow the full cancellation of the item(s) or a penalty may apply. Tents, specialty or wedding items cannot be cancelled without paying the full cost of the item. 

 

7. Labor Description: Set up & take down of Yes2Events equipment is not included in cost. We can provide this service for $3.50 per table, $2.75 per linen, $1.00 per chair, and custom labor charges for specialty items. 

 

8. Delivery/Pick-Up: Please allow a 2 hour delivery window on all timed orders.  Sunday delivery and/or pick up must be scheduled after 2pm. For example if your delivery time is scheduled for 12pm we will drop off between 12pm-2pm. Once delivery time has been established that will be the set time we will arrive. Allow a 15 minute grace period for Yes2Events to arrive after the set delivery time. Yes2Events will wait 30 minutes after arriving to the venue for the customer to be present for drop. If customer is not there within that time frame Yes2Events will leave the premises and will no longer be responsible for the items being delivered and no refund will be given. If Yes2Events has to come back there will be a $175 inconvenience fee that must be collected at time of drop off. No goods may be moved from the place of delivery without written permission of Yes2Events. Customer shall have all equipment available for pickup by Yes2Events on the pickup date listed under “Pick up Date” on the delivery ticket. Failure to have said equipment available will subject customer to an additional rental charge for each day the equipment is not available for pickup. All rental items must be readily available for pick up at time specified in contract. Even if the event is still going on Yes2Events will collect rental items at time specified in contract. 

 

9. Indemnify, Hold Harmless: Customer shall assume all liability for, and agrees to defend, indemnify, hold harmless, and protect Yes2Events, its’s owners, shareholders, agents, officers, directors, employees, successors, and assigns (Yes2Events indemnified parties) against any claims, losses, action, damages, injuries, penalties, and liability, including attorneys’ fees, arising or connected with customer’s use and possession of the rental property. 

 

10. Unforeseen Events: Customer shall not hold Yes2Events responsible for unseen events such as weather & unforeseen life situations of the customer. If an Act of God were to occur preventing the event/rental from taking place as scheduled, Yes2Events will allow for the event/rental to be rescheduled, pending availability. 

11. Linen Care, Food Service Equip. & Acknowledgement / Black Mesh Linen Bag: Customer understands the replacement value will be charged to the rental charge for any event furniture, glasses, vases, mirrors or any other item rented by customer that are lost, stolen, or damaged. Customer acknowledges responsibility for all stains or damages to linens (lost, stolen, burns, tears). Candle wax and mildew (pen marks, and blood stains) will cause permanent stains and customer is responsible for the full replacement cost of the linen. Wet or damp linens should be dried before pick up to help prevent mildew damage. Due to laundering and dye lots, Yes2Events is not responsible for minor color variations. Please shake out all debris from linen before returning. Please return all linens in mesh bag to help protect linens. Mesh bag must be returned with order or charge of $12.00 per bag will be assessed and $20 for carrying tote and/or stainless steel hangers. All equipment is to be knocked down and stacked for pickup. For health purposes, all china, glassware, flatware and other food service equipment must be rinsed in hot water and repacked in the same containers as delivered. 

Continued terms/conditions: Customer agrees to pay the replacement costs of any loss or disappearance of equipment due to theft, conversation, or other dishonest acts on part of any person or persons to whom the issued property is entrusted. This includes any

person or persons in the service e or employment of the customer whether or not occurring during the hours of such service or employment.

12. Ordering Correct Items: Yes2Events will not be responsible for items that are incorrect sizes and/ or color. Customer must make sure all of the ordering items are correct including sizes and color for your event. Customer must give the correct amount, size, color for table linen, chair covers, sashes, napkins, etc. Upon delivery if the items do not fit appropriately based off of the information given when booking rental item(s) the customer will still be responsible for the full balance. 

 

13. Broken, Damaged and Missing Rental Items: The customer is responsible for the equipment while in their possession. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. Customer must return all rented items on the date specified in contract, if missing items and/or partial items have to be returned the next business day, outside of the agreed allotment, a $75 missing item fee will be billed to the customer each day the missing item(s) is not returned. We will contact the customer to inform about the missing(s) items in question, the quantity, and inform them of the late fee that will be billed. We will ask that you return the items immediately (same business day) during our business hours as we may need to re-rent these items following your event. If the credit card on file declines, we will keep a portion of the refundable incidental fee to cover the one-day late fee if brought back items a day late and refund the remaining portion. All of the refundable incidental deposit will be forfeited if items are not returned 48hrs after the return date of the contract.  Customer must pay the full replacement value of the items that are damaged and/or missing if not returned within 48hrs after initial contract date. We will send an invoice of the description of items that are missing/damaged and bill the card that is on file. If the card on file declines the charges and we have not heard from the customer 48hrs of the return date our next step will be to contact the police department in your jurisdiction to retrieve our rental item(s). It is important for the customer to continue to communicate with us about the rental items to avoid being charged with a felony.  Notify us immediately if you find something broken or missing when it is received! Should you later find the item(s) in question after you have been charged the full cost replacement amount, and return it to us in good condition, we will gladly give a refund of the full cost replacement charge(s) that was charged to you.   

14. Receipt Inspection of Rental Items: Customer rents the items on an “as is” basic. Customer acknowledges that they have personally inspected the item(s) prior to leaving Yes2Events (regardless of point of delivery) and finds it suitable for their needs. Customer acknowledges receipt of all items listed in this agreement in good working order and repair and that they understand its proper operation and use without further instructions regarding operation and use from Yes2Events.                                                                 

15. Ordinary Wear and Tear: Customer agrees to pay for damages or loss of goods, as an insurer, regardless of cause, except wear and tear, while the goods are out of the possession of Yes2Events. Customer also agrees to pay a reasonable cleaning charge, as determined by Yes2Events, for equipment returned dirty. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase or cost or repair of damaged or lost goods. Equipment damaged beyond repair will be paid for at its fair market value when rented. The cost repairs will be borne by customer, whether performed by Yes2Events, or, at Yes2Events option, by others. 

16. Photography: The customer agrees that photography of their event can be used for promotional purposes by Yes2Events. 

Discrepancies At the time of delivery or pick up we ask you go through and verify you have received all of the correct items before departure.  If there are any discrepancies with an order, we must be notified as soon as possible to rectify this for you.
